Had a wonderful impromptu trip to get delicious coffee and fabulous waffles as a post shabbat trip. I never usually leave the Kfar after shabbat because I feel like things are still closed since it seems silly to open for six hours or so but I am extremely mistaken. I think it was nice to get out. It makes the weekend seem more like a weekend. Next weekend I think some beers are in order at a bar around eight or so with some of my girls. I need to get out way more than I do. I am such a grandma sometimes!
The people I went out with tonight are seriously wonderful. They are the people closer in my age and in the same year of school as me as apposed to my group of friends on gap year (wonderfully mature for their age of course:]) but it is nice to be surrounded by the same age group I would be if I was home. It really has to do with experiences and the conversations differ greatly but I really enjoy having two different groups to be around. I wish I spent more time with this group I ventured out with this evening because they are all fabulous people but I don’t wanna infringe on this established circle of friends too much. It was really nice to walk into their apt when they didn’t know I was coming and I felt bad for crashing (with an invite from my roommate who went of course) and I was created enthusiastically by one member in particular (best not to name names even though none of them have a tumblr) and it made me smile to feel welcomed :] What a fabulous evening with fabulous people and fabulous food. Smile Israel!
